Some wines bend the rules. This one rewrites them entirely. An unforgettable experience.
A Rebel's Masterpiece
Les Jardins de Babylone was the passion project of the late, great Didier Dagueneau, a rebel genius. Here, in the steep terraces of Jurançon, he turned his focus to Petit Manseng, crafting one of the most thrilling white wines on earth. Today, his son Louis-Benjamin continues the magic.
This wine is a beautiful contradiction. Juicy mango, pineapple, and candied ginger burst from the glass, only to be reeled in by piercing acidity and a rush of salty, mountain-stone minerality. It is tropical, taut, and unforgettable, with a texture that is rich yet dances with energy.
How to Enjoy
This is a bottle for the curious and the bold. Decant it and pair it with foods that can meet its energy, like spicy Thai curry, aged Comté cheese, or foie gras.
