A cult-favorite, ultra-traditional Añejo crafted with ancient methods by a legendary tequila family.
The Soul of the Valley, Aged
Born in the volcanic soils of the Tequila Valley, Fortaleza Añejo is a masterwork of patience and heritage. Every bottle is a small miracle of tradition: 100% estate-grown agave is slow-roasted, crushed under a two-ton volcanic stone tahona, fermented in open-air wooden tanks, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. Aged for 18 months in used American oak, the result is a spirit where oak whispers but agave sings.
Find rich cooked agave, warm butterscotch, and vanilla on the nose, with a salty kiss of olive brine. The palate is lush and layered with caramel, hazelnut, and baking spice. A glass raised to craft, courage, and coming home.
How to Enjoy
This is a tequila to be sipped slowly and savored. Enjoy neat in a tasting glass to appreciate its profound complexity.
