This is an electric, soulful, and joyfully untamed wine. A living, breathing expression of Tuscan soil and spirit.
The Pulse of Tuscany
From Giovanna Morganti’s enchanting biodynamic farm in Castelnuovo Berardenga comes a wine that feels less like a product and more like a pulse. The nose is wildly alive: bright red cherry and wild raspberry leap from the glass, grounded by violets andk sun-baked herbs. The palate is a zingy jolt of red-fruited energy, medium-bodied with crunchy acidity and a dusting of fine tannins.
“Il Cinque” is a field blend of Sangiovese and other traditional Tuscan grapes like Colorino and Mammolo. Fermented together and aged in large old botti, this is about presence, not polish. It is a glass of Italy’s raw, rural heart.
How to Enjoy
Its bright acidity and rustic charm make it perfect for classic Italian fare. Pair with pasta with a simple tomato sauce, pizza, or a board of cured meats.
