A vintage-dated tequila that proves terroir isn’t just for wine. A field in a bottle.
A Snapshot of Place
Crafted at La Alteña distillery by Master Distiller Carlos Camarena, this añejo comes from a single estate, El Nacimiento, harvested in 2022. This bottle is a love letter to a particular place and moment. On the nose, sweet roasted agave leads, gently wrapped in caramel and cinnamon. The palate is silky, with bright agave softened by butterscotch and toasted nuts.
What makes Ocho special is what they don't do. There are no additives. Just slow-roasted agave from a single field, aged exactly one year in used ex-American whiskey barrels to let the land speak. “El Nacimiento” means “The Birth,” and this bottling is a singular expression, never to be repeated.
How to Enjoy
This is a sipping tequila. Enjoy it neat from a proper tasting glass to explore its layered complexity.
