A single field. A single season. A pure shot of place.
A Study in Nature
Tequila Ocho Plata is a masterclass in agave terroir. Distilled by Carlos Camarena at La Alteña, each bottling is vintage-dated and estate-specific, with the field (rancho) proudly named on the label. This is tequila as a time capsule. The nose is electric with fresh-cut agave, lime zest, and green herbs. The palate is viscous yet bright, offering waves of white pepper and flinty minerality.
The process is deliberate and slow: overripe agaves are oven-roasted for 72 hours and naturally fermented. Nothing is added, nothing is taken away. Like a Grand Cru for tequila, Ocho Plata invites you to explore how soil, sun, and slope transform agave.
How to Enjoy
A fantastic sipping blanco that showcases terroir. Also makes a bright, complex, and high-quality Margarita or Ranch Water.
