A duet of wood, a masterclass in balance. This whisky doesn’t shout. It sings.
A Symphony of Flavor
This is Macallan in harmony mode. The 15 Year Double Cask brings together the soul of Spain and the heart of America in one transcendent whisky. The nose is warm honey, orange peel, and soft toffee. The palate flows with creamy caramel and golden raisin, cushioned by the sweetness of sherry-seasoned American oak and the spice-laced grip of European oak.
The craft is in the contrast. Both American and European oak casks are seasoned with Oloroso sherry in Jerez before they journey to Speyside, where they spend 15 quiet years shaping something greater together. It's soft power in a glass.
How to Enjoy
A whisky for the thoughtful drinker. Enjoy neat to appreciate the nuanced interplay between the two cask types.
