Why We Created Frankie’s Provisions

When we first dreamed of Frankie’s Provisions, it was meant to be a retirement project — something to look forward to someday. But life, as it tends to do, had other plans. After we brought home our spirited puppy, Frankie, and watched her bound through the world with endless curiosity, Tina said something that stuck:
"Why wait?"

And they were right.

Frankie’s Provisions was born out of a lifelong passion — a love of great food, exceptional drink, and the art of sharing the stories behind them. After 16 years as a sommelier, telling the stories of the artisans behind every bottle and every handmade good has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I realized I didn’t want to wait for "someday" — I wanted to create a space now where curiosity leads and connection follows.

Frankie's pure, unfiltered curiosity reminded me why I fell in love with this path in the first place. We want Frankie’s to be a place where that spirit lives — a place where every shelf, every bottle, and every item you discover has a story behind it, waiting for you to share.

We believe that everyone — farmers, winemakers, distillers, creators — deserves help telling their story. It's our passion to be that bridge between the maker and the person who didn’t even know they needed what they were about to find.

Community has always been at the heart of our lives, and it’s woven into Frankie’s as well. Over the years, community has supported us in countless ways, and now we’re proud to give back. Every purchase helps support local animal shelters — a small way we can return the kindness we’ve been given, and a way to honor the furry friend who helped inspire it all.

Our dream is that Frankie’s becomes the place you think of when you want to mark a special moment — for someone you love, or for yourself.
