Bright, volcanic, and quietly bold, this is mezcal from the other side of the mountain.
A New Chapter
From the lush, mineral-rich village of Axocopan in Puebla, just beneath the shadow of the Popocatépetl volcano, comes a mezcal that expands the story of Del Maguey. While best known for its Oaxacan roots, VIDA Puebla introduces a chapter defined by dark volcanic soil and a distinct sense of place.
The nose opens with roasted agave and lemon zest, chased by a green note like bell pepper kissed by smoke. The palate is smooth and refreshing, with layers of roasted pineapple and a salty, stony minerality. The smoke is soft and graceful. This spirit celebrates a different side of Mexico, one still rooted in tradition but shaped by a new terrain.
How to Enjoy
This mezcal is made for mixing. Its bright profile and soft smoke make it perfect for crafting next-level cocktails like a Paloma or Margarita.
