The cult classic. Bold, bitter Fernet electrified by an arctic blast of mint.
Fernet, but Make it Menthol
This is not your grandmother’s mint liqueur. Born in Milan in the 1960s, Branca Menta takes the signature 27-ingredient Fernet base and crashes it headlong into an icy wave of pure peppermint essential oil. The result is a jaw-dropping one-two punch: cool, sweet mint hits upfront, followed by that unmistakable deep, bitter medicinal Fernet core.
Legend has it this minty twist was inspired by opera diva Maria Callas, who sipped her Fernet with a sprig of mint. Whether true or not, Branca Menta has become a bartender’s secret handshake.
How to Enjoy
Serve ice cold as a shot. It is intensely refreshing and powerfully bitter. Also great over crushed ice with a splash of soda.
