A gin of legend that is bold, historic, and unapologetically strong.
Gunpowder Proof
This is the real deal: a protected geographical style and a distillery that predates America. Made only in Plymouth, England, at the Black Friars Distillery (since 1793), this gin is bottled at the explosive 57% ABV that once fueled the British Royal Navy and could still ignite gunpowder if spilled.
This Navy Strength version takes the classic, earthy Plymouth profile and dials everything up. The nose hits with bold juniper and lemon zest. The palate is intensely rich and full-bodied, yet smooth as velvet, with earthier root botanicals grounding the spirit. The finish is long, clean, and commanding. Distilled in a single historic copper pot still, it's the gin that launched cocktails like the Gimlet.
How to Enjoy
Drink it with respect. Its high proof and rich texture make it the perfect backbone for cocktails that need to stand tall, like a Gimlet, a Pink Gin, or a Negroni.
